Sixty-six judicial documents from Chinese courts have been included in the WIPO Lex global database, a platform under the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and have recently been made fully public. This curated collection of judicial documents represents the latest achievements in China's judicial protection of intellectual property, offering practical pathways for other countries to address similar challenges. It further solidifies the practical foundation for promoting the establishment of a fairer and more reasonable international intellectual property rule system.

The case (2021) Supreme People's Court IP Civil Final No. 1066, represented by our firm's attorneys Chen Jing and Li Weizhao, has been selected as a representative Chinese court case. This case established the significant adjudication rule that "the business performance publicly announced by an infringer can serve as a basis for calculating damages compensation." It reflects the judicial orientation of Chinese courts to strengthen IP protection and increase the intensity of damages awards, effectively guiding market entities to adhere to the principle of good faith in commercial activities. This adjudication rule has been referenced and applied by courts nationwide.

As a globally authoritative platform for intellectual property legal information, WIPO Lex contains laws, treaties, and judicial documents from nearly two hundred countries and regions. Entities worldwide can intuitively and quickly understand the status of intellectual property judicial protection across the globe. The inclusion and publication of these judicial documents serve three key purposes: first, demonstrating the international dimension of China's judicial transparency; second, building a bridge for international exchange on the rule of law; and third, contributing China's solutions to global intellectual property governance.
