From September 13th to 14th, 2025, the "All China Lawyers Association Intellectual Property Committee 2025 Business Exchange Conference", hosted by the All China Lawyers Association Intellectual Property Committee, undertaken by the Jiangsu Provincial Lawyers Association, and co-organized by the Nanjing Lawyers Association, Suzhou Lawyers Association, and Nantong Lawyers Association, was successfully concluded in Nanjing.
The conference, themed "Opportunities and Challenges – Intellectual Property Legal Services in the Era of Artificial Intelligence," attracted widespread attention and active participation from the national intellectual property legal community.
Rayto Law Firm, as a member of both the Jiangsu Provincial Lawyers Association and the Nanjing Lawyers Association, was deeply honored to be extensively involved in the preparation and support services for this conference.
Lawyer Jiang Haijun served as the General Manager for Conference Services and Liaison, taking overall responsibility for coordinating the organization, planning, liaison, and reception matters, laying a solid foundation for the smooth convening of the conference.
Furthermore, several lawyers from Rayto, including Liu Jinfeng, Li Weichao, Liu Qi, Wu Jiaran, and Wang Qi, attended the conference.
Lawyers from Rayto, along with numerous other lawyers from Nanjing, voluntarily formed an enthusiastic and professional volunteer conference team. This team, including lawyers Yang Jieming, Hu Fengfeng, Yan Fei, Chen Liyun, Chen Bin, Mou Xiaoyu, Chen Tianyi, Bao Cheng, Li Tong, Wang Runying, Xue Bin, Guo Damei, Zhou Haili, Jin Long, and others, was part of the nearly forty-member Nanjing Lawyers Volunteer Group that participated in the full conference support.
Every member of Rayto demonstrated a high sense of responsibility and team spirit, contributing significantly to the success of this industry event. We are deeply proud of this!
The conference invited leaders and experts from the All China Lawyers Association, the Supreme People's Court, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and other institutions to share their insights.
They delivered excellent speeches centered around four key themes: "Several Thoughts on Legal Issues Related to Artificial Intelligence," "Serving National Innovation Development with High-Quality and Efficient Intellectual Property Prosecutorial Functions," "Challenges of AI Technology to the Intellectual Property Legal System," and "Jurisdiction and Applicable Law Concerning Extraterritorial Infringement of Intellectual Property Rights."
We sincerely thank the various government agencies and judicial organs for their strong support and high regard for the work of intellectual property lawyers. These sharing sessions provided profound insights for practical work.
The exchange conference featured six parallel professional sessions, covering Patent Law, Trademark Law, Copyright Law, Foreign-Related IP, Intellectual Property Management and Operation, and Administrative Enforcement & Criminal Protection. These sessions delved into new perspectives, new business areas, and new knowledge in the intellectual property field in the AI era.
Lawyer Li Weichao, Senior Partner at Rayto Law Firm, presided over the Patent Law session. He facilitated high-quality theoretical and practical dialogues among panelists on cutting-edge issues such as first generic drug patent strategies, the patent term compensation system for pharmaceuticals, global SEP litigation trends and jurisdictional disputes, patent protection in the chip sector, AI applications in patent agency, and judicial policies related to NPEs in standard essential patent disputes.
The session was highly attended with a full house, fostering a vibrant atmosphere for exchange.
Over 500 seasoned lawyers, scholars, judges, prosecutors, and corporate legal elites from across the country shared valuable experiences and forward-thinking ideas from both IP litigation and non-contentious practices, drawing on typical cases and academic viewpoints. All participants found the conference highly rewarding.
This event was not only a feast of knowledge but also a convergence and outlook for the industry.
Rayto Law Firm sincerely congratulates on the complete success of the conference. We will continue to uphold our professional ethos, constantly deepen our expertise in intellectual property legal services, and work alongside our peers to embrace the opportunities and challenges of the AI era, contributing to the advancement of China's intellectual property cause to new heights!
