On August 17, 2026, during the 2026 Shanghai Book Fair and “Shanghai Reading Week,” the “IP for You” Intellectual Property Themed Reading Space Co-construction Ceremony and New Book Release Exchange Meeting was held at the Shanghai Exhibition Center.

The event was hosted by the Intellectual Property Publishing House, with the Shanghai Intellectual Property Office, the Shanghai Arbitration Commission, the Shanghai Intellectual Property Protection Center, and the Shanghai Pudong New Area Intellectual Property Protection Center participating in the co-construction.

As the compiling unit of The Corporate Intellectual Property Practice and Risk Control Guide: Case Analysis and Strategic Essentials, Rayto was invited to attend. Attorney Haijun Jiang, Director of Rayto, represented the firm at the new book release and exchange.

Chao Liu, Party Secretary and Chairman of Intellectual Property Publishing House Co., Ltd., attended the meeting and introduced the progress of the “IP for You” Intellectual Property Themed Reading Space. The Shanghai Arbitration Commission, the Shanghai Intellectual Property Protection Center, the Pudong New Area Intellectual Property Protection Center, and the Intellectual Property Publishing House jointly launched the co-construction ceremony.

A total of three new works in the intellectual property field were released at the exchange meeting. The Corporate Intellectual Property Practice and Risk Control Guide: Case Analysis and Strategic Essentials is the second monograph compiled by Rayto. The book selects typical intellectual property cases handled by Rayto over the past five years, written personally by the lawyer teams that led the handling of the cases throughout. The cases in the book cover core intellectual property fields such as patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. They include both complex infringement disputes with amounts in dispute exceeding RMB 10 million and new types of disputes under new business forms such as cross-border e-commerce and open-source software, precisely targeting various high-frequency intellectual property pain points throughout the entire corporate operating cycle.

Attorney Haijun Jiang gave a thematic presentation on the content of the new book, expressing the hope that the book can help enterprises move dispute handling experience forward into risk prevention and control capabilities, and also provide lawyers and peers with practical methods tested in practice, promoting the transformation of useful explorations in these cases into public knowledge in the intellectual property industry.

Also released at the same event were Research on Copyright Limitations and Exceptions for Text and Data Mining, which demonstrates from a comparative law perspective the legitimacy of mandatory copyright limitations and exceptions as a foundational solution for text and data mining, and proposes a Chinese approach; and Intellectual Property Transaction Risk Prevention and Control, which focuses on transaction risks and control strategies for patents, trade secrets, trademarks, and foreign-related technology in scenarios such as licensing, assignment, and capital contribution.

The three new books provide diverse knowledge supply for the intellectual property field from three dimensions: practical operation, frontier theory, and transaction risk control.

The release of this new book is another active exploration by Rayto in transforming years of frontline practical experience into public knowledge products for the industry. Attorney Haijun Jiang stated that Rayto will continue to deepen its work in the field of intellectual property legal services in the future, give back to the industry with professional capabilities, and help enterprises innovate and develop.
