Six Rayto Lawyers from Nanjing Headquarters, Suzhou Branch, and Changzhou Branch Attend the Jiangsu Lawyers Association Trademark and Copyright Business Training Program

From August 8 to 9, 2026, the Trademark and Copyright Business Training Program hosted by the Jiangsu Lawyers Association was successfully held at the Tiancizhuang Campus of Soochow University. The training program aimed to further enhance the professional capabilities of lawyers across the province in handling trademark and copyright cases. Intellectual property lawyers selected and recommended from various parts of the province gathered together to participate in the two-day intensive study.

Six lawyers from Rayto participated in the training and all successfully completed it: Attorney Fengfeng Hu, Head of the Lawyer Department of Rayto; Attorney Weichao Li, Senior Partner; Attorney Qi Liu, Senior Partner; Attorney Xuejian Wu, Head of the Search and Consulting Department; Attorney Cheng Bao; and Attorney Long Jin, Deputy Director of Rayto (Changzhou).

The training program invited multiple authoritative experts in the intellectual property field to lecture, including Piliang Shangguan, Second-Class Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Kenneth Wang School of Law, Soochow University; Qian Wang, Second-Class Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Law, East China University of Political Science and Law; Jianjun Yao, former Vice President of the Xi’an Intermediate People’s Court and First-Class Senior Judge; Shengquan Xu, Associate Professor at the School of Intellectual Property, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, and Director of the Jiangsu Trademark Brand Research Center; and Jian Song, former member of the Judicial Committee and Chief Judge of the Intellectual Property Division of the Jiangsu High People’s Court, and First-Class Inspector.

The training courses closely followed practical frontiers and covered analysis of several difficult issues in the determination of works, analysis of several issues in trademark infringement, interpretation of the fifth amendment to the Trademark Law of the People’s Republic of China, and discussion of several issues in the determination of copyright infringement. The training program provided in-depth interpretation of trademarks and copyrights, helping participating lawyers promptly grasp legislative developments and enhance their practical response capabilities.

The trainees were divided into six study groups. Attorneys Fengfeng Hu and Weichao Li of Rayto served as group leaders of two of the groups respectively, demonstrating the professional competence and organizational skills of Rayto lawyers. During the two days of study, Attorneys Fengfeng Hu, Weichao Li, Qi Liu, Xuejian Wu, Cheng Bao, and Long Jin studied diligently and interacted actively, engaging in in-depth exchanges with lecturing experts and peers. They completed all courses and successfully graduated.
