Seven Rayto Lawyers Attend the Jiangsu Lawyers Association’s Foreign-related Intellectual Property Training Program

From July 16 to 19, 2026, the “Foreign-related Intellectual Property Training Program” hosted by the Jiangsu Lawyers Association was successfully held at the Yunlong Campus of Jiangsu Normal University. The training program aimed to further enhance the professional capabilities of lawyers in Jiangsu Province in handling foreign-related intellectual property cases. During the four-day training, the curriculum covered frontier areas of foreign-related intellectual property legal services.

Seven lawyers from Rayto participated in the training: Bin Chen, Liyun Chen, Tan Meng, Yujiao Wang, and Jiawei Liu from Rayto Law Firm, and Fengfeng Hu and Long Jin from Rayto (Changzhou) Law Firm.

The training program featured a strong faculty lineup, inviting multiple renowned experts and practical elites in the intellectual property field from home and abroad to give lectures. These included Fengzhen Zhang, Dean of the School of Law at Jiangsu Normal University; Yingkun Luo, European Patent Attorney; Yeye Yang, Partner at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner LLP (USA); Wuquan Ruan, Partner at KENFOX IP & Law Office; Huiming Zheng, Member of the Intellectual Property Committee of the Law Society of Hong Kong; Qing Zhang, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages at China University of Political Science and Law; Guoqiang Lv, Senior Advisor at the WIPO China Office; and Jiansheng Xu, Senior Partner at Fujian Shili Law Firm. They shared presentations on respectively: Practical Exchange and Sharing for Foreign-related Lawyers, European Patent Applications and Litigation Strategies After the Implementation of the UPC, Intellectual Property Litigation Risks and Compliance Considerations for Enterprises Operating in the United States, Protecting Brands in Southeast Asia: Intellectual Property Risks, Case Studies, and Practical Solutions for Chinese Enterprises, Intellectual Property Protection and Cross-border Legal Risks in Hong Kong, Legal English and Practical English Case Exercises, Arbitration and Mediation of International Intellectual Property Disputes, and Reflections on Cross-border Intellectual Property Services. In addition, Haijun Jiang, Director of the Intellectual Property Business Committee of the Jiangsu Lawyers Association, gave a specialized lecture on Thoroughly Studying and Implementing the Thought on the Rule of Law—Comprehensively Strengthening Foreign-related Intellectual Property Work in the New Era.
